I really wanted to like this but... I really hate it when authors tell you how the characters feel instead of showing it. I didn't feel like there was a love story. (SPOILER)

The first time Cas meets Zus, he gets effed while he was scared and dazed. Then he passes out. Wakes up and meets the second brother and gets effed too. They talked and starts to develop a connection. The mating with the third brother occurs later on. Throughout the whole thing, it didn't seem like there was enough time or character development for a relationship to develop between Cas and his mates. It was all biological. Then all the mentions of "we're mates" and "you're mates" and therefore it's expected you all feel that way and will love each other forever. I would've wanted to see the process of falling in love and loving each other instead of being told that they love each other.

Another great book by Stormy Glenn....
Cas was able to find love and support with his mate. Three brothers have decide to make Cas his mate. Through all their trials when the time came what sacrifice would you make?
Good premise. Would have been better with more story. Hope next installment is longer. Interesting plot and characters. The storyline needed fleshing out.
Stormy Glenn did it again another great book I Loved it it was a hit a home run I can't wait to read the next one in this series I hope it's soon .....
I very much enjoyed this fast paced story. The storyline was well written and it was very refreshing as it wasn't something that had been done before. I enjoy Stormy Glenn's books and she doesn't disappoint in this one.
I really like where this series is going. The storyline is set in the future and Cas is the underdog, his race captured by another. He is able to escape and land on a habitable planet and discovered by one of 3 brothers. Then it's a cultural exchange and mating between Cas and 3 brothers. And I'd like to add that even if the blurb said Cas is a pet, he's not. Not at all. He's an equal partner in the mating. And even though this story is under 100 pages there is a good glimpse of what the mating means to them, to their goddess, and their planet as a whole. It was an interesting read, would have been even better if it was longer with a bit more of Cas settling into that society and being accepted by his peers. - Dan's Wife
Typical Stormy Glenn book. Very good storyline, easily skipped over sex scenes, and too many typos/editing errors. Things like "deiced" instead of "decided" are just annoying and detract from the story. The story is about Cas, who escapes from his ship and the general in charge only to crash on a planet and be claimed as mate by 3 brothers. Zev, Zan, and Zus rule their tribe of cat like people. It's a good plot, and I would like to see the series continue, but Siren publishing needs better proofreaders or editors.
